Misato town is located in the southern part of Akita Prefecture, east of the Ou Mountain Range and west of the Senboku Plain. It is a beautiful town blessed with clear air, clean water and fertile land. As many as 126 springs have been confirmed in the town, and it has been selected as one of the 100 Best Waters in Japan.

The scenery where 20,000 lavenders bloom beautifully on the vast site of about 2 hectares is a true masterpiece. Misato town's original "Misato Sekka" is a white lavender and is beautiful like accumulated snow in the summer.

A cider made from Niteko Shimizu, which has the largest volume of spring water among the Rokugo spring waters in Misato Town, is selected as one of the 100 Best Waters in Japan. You can taste the pure flavor of "water" from the cider.
